SMU Cox Announces the 2017 Results for Fastest-Growing Companies in DFW
Dallas, TX (November 16, 2017) – LiquidAgents Healthcare is 23rd in the prestigious annual list of fastest-growing companies in DFW. The announcement came on Thursday evening, at the 26th Annual SMU Cox Dallas 100™ Awards Ceremony and Banquet at the Omni Dallas Hotel. The presentation is given by the Cox School’s Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. LiquidAgents Healthcare is the most award-winning travel nurse agency. It provides clinical staffing solutions to public and private health systems across the United States since 2003.

First of all, the Caruth Institute annually ranks the top 100 Dallas entrepreneurial companies based on sales growth and absolute dollar growth over the previous three years. This year’s program examines sales from over 250 companies for 2014 to 2016, the last year for which complete data is available. The winners represent a broad spectrum of Dallas-area businesses—everything from information technology to healthcare and a wide variety in between.
“This year’s companies are a great example of the wide variety of entrepreneurial companies, because they contribute to the area’s economy,” said Simon Mak, Ph.D., associate director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU Cox.
The Dallas 100 Awards
Dallas 100™, co-founded by the Caruth Institute, honors the ingenuity, commitment, and perseverance of the fastest-growing privately held entrepreneurial businesses in the Dallas area. According to the Caruth Institute data, qualifying companies require sales of at least $500,000 and no more than $75 million in fiscal 2013.
“The key statistics of the Dallas 100™ consistently amaze,” said Jerry White, the Linda A. and Kenneth R. Morris Endowed Director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. White has been at the helm of the event since it began in 1990. “These outstanding companies probably created more than 10,000 jobs in the last two years. Similarly, jobs that are critical to fueling the Dallas economic engine,” he said.
